May 03, 2026"An outstanding evening meal for a family birthday. This is the second time I have eaten here and it really is superb. Beautifully decorated, with luxury touches. The menu is detailed so needs to be studied. The food is cooked and presented to perfection. Even the salad leaf, tossed in oil tastes amazing! We were a party of 5 and ate starters, mains, just 1 dessert and coffees. Everything we had was exceptional. The owner greets you like family and really makes the experience a special one. We visited on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was busy.. this isn’t surprising considering the quality of food, service and ambience. One of the nicest local restaurants I have been to. Highly recommended."

The place is impeccable, staff is warm and welcome and the food makes you happy you didn't cook at home - delicious and in large portions. I really really recommend you to come here if you've never been. Try their calamari and their fish dishes, you won't be disappointed!"

Apr 04, 2026"Went with a party size of 11 including kids for a birthday meal and walked out amazed and wishing we lived in the local area so we can become regulars! The food is freshly prepared with high quality ingredients prepared with a fine dining flair and we would come back to try all the other dishes we didn't order. The food is accompanied by a the friendly service with a smile, which makes you feel very welcome. Roosters is one of the rare breed of restaurants left in the country that is still run by an owner who cares about service rather than temp staff who can't wait until their shift finishes, and this makes all the difference in the experience in eating at here. Congrats and next time I am in Dorking or anywhere nearby I will be coming back!"
